Crosby Eye Clinic has new eye surgery

The Crosby Eye Clinic announced that it has introduced a new vision correction surgery for its cataract patients. Dr. Jerome Poland, Dr. Ina Luca and Dr. Stacy Sjoberg have begun treating cataract patients with the ReZoom? multifocal intraocular lens (IOL).

The ReZoom IOL is the next generation multifocal IOL. The ReZoom IOL Balanced View Optics? technology distributes light over five optical zones for enhanced restoration of visual function, providing distance, intermediate and near vision for reduced spectacle dependence. This allows the performance characteristics of the lens to match the lifestyle demands of the patient. In a clinical study 92 percent of ReZoom IOL patients reported never or only occasionally having to wear glasses.

“The ReZoom intraocular lens provides cataract patients with a new alternative to monofocal IOLs. The ReZoom IOL gives patients a balanced view of life by creating a full range of vision, hence improving patients‚ quality of life,” added Poland.

For information call the Crosby Eye Clinic at 800-952-3766 or visit www.crosbyeyeclinic.com.
